HOME MADE NATURAL CONDITIONERS
Henna is a traditional Indian herb that acts as a natural conditioner and is excellent for the maintenance of healthy hair. It can help heal the hair shaft by repairing and sealing the cuticle,protecting hair against breakage and loss of shine.
How to use- Soak Henna over night. If dark tint is required soak in an iron bowl. Apply in small sections of hair and comb through so that Henna paste can reach the hair roots. For darker tint keep for 2 -3 hours. For hair conditioning rinse after 30 mints.
For dark brown hair : Put Henna in an iron bowl and mix with hot freshly boiled tea & coffee. Keep the mixture overnight, cover it with a lid. Use next morning.
For Burgundy coloring : Boil two BEETROOT'S & 6 - 8 HIBISCUS flower for 20 mints. Allow to cool. Mix with Henna powder to make a paste. Add one lemon juice or 1 tabel spoon of vinegar before use.
For hair conditioning : Mix Henna powder with one cup of curd, one table spoon of methi powder & water. Apply on hair, Keep it for 30 minutes. Egg may be used for extra body.
For Burnished highlight : (Gloss & Luster) Boil two table spoon of tea with one table spoon of met hi powder. Mix it with Henna powder to make a paste. Allow the paste to settle down for 1 hr. Add one lemon juice before use.

SOME NATURAL WAYS TO GLOW YOUR SKIN
Take 1 tbsp of un-boiled milk, dip a small pad of cotton wool in this and rub on the face gently. Use circular movements, use upward strokes on the neck area. Leave this on for 15 minutes. Wash with cold water.
CUCUMBER
Take a thick slice of cucumber. Don't peel the slice, rub in a circular motion all over the face and neck areas. Wash after 15 minutes.
TOMATO
Halve a tomato, gently rub over face and neck and wash after 15 minutes.
LIME
Take the half of a lime peel, from which the juice has been extracted, rub this firmly on the face and the neck. Using a Scrub-(once in 3-4 days).
After washing off the milk or juice - take a tsp of oat bran or wheat husk or gram flour (besan). Make a paste with a few drops of water and rub the face and neck gently with this. This sloughs away the dead cells and gives the face a glow. Don't use soap, just splash on cold water that will act as an astringent and close the pores.
GREEN GRAM
Use green gram powder or rice flour mixed with curds instead.
Oily Skin: If the face is oily,
After a bath as a base for make-up use some diluted limejuice to dab on before application of foundation or any other make-up.
BUTTERMILK
Diluted buttermilk dabbed on the face and left for 15 minutes, gently wipe with moist cotton wool before applying make-up.
ICE CUBE
Rub the face well with an ice cube.
APPLE
Take Apple into thin slices,apply these on the face and leave for 15 minutes. These soak up the extra oil and helps to close pores.
